Ron Seese developed an interest in woodworking at a young age.  It was in high school shop class that Ron discovered his interest in woodworking far surpassed his interest in the traditional curriculum.  While Ron’s lifelong passion for woodworking was born in that shop class, it has endured to this day.

 Over the years, Ron has continued to pursue woodworking as a hobby.  Eventually, he noticed a growing demand for the products of his labor.  So, he established Double Dowel Woodworking and opened “the Shop” where he could make each of his fine wood products by hand and share them with the world.  Over 22 years later, Ron still makes each of his products by hand in that very same workshop nestled in the hills of West Virginia.  

Ron’s fine wood products are featured at Tamarack, West Virginia’s Artisan Retail Center, as well as at various master artisan festivals in the Northeastern United States.
